Lunch For Thursday: Chicken Nuggets/Baked Beans
We are ordering some more Math/Science Shirts.  If you wanted one but didn’t get one, please see Mrs. Buchanan or Mr. Nilson.  Orders will be sent October 7th.
Citizens Bank & Trust is looking for a part-time bank teller.  The hours would be from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Mondaythrough Friday two to three days each week, and two to three Saturday mornings from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM each month.  We will also have you work additional hours during the day throughout the summer.  Please call Citizens Bank & Trust at 308-754-4426 if you are interested in applying  for this position.  Please ask for Jeana Mrkvicka or Bobbi Placke.
Wildcats parents, teachers, coaches and fans: The Booster Club will be hosting a Homecoming BBQ, Friday, October 9th, from  11 am  – 1pm. Hamburger, Chips, Brownie, and Bottled Water for $5. Please join us for lunch and support your Wildcat Athletes!  Side note: We can deliver an order to the school for teachers and coaches, if they would like to purchase. October 5th-9th is Homecoming Week! The Student Council decided on the following for themes for dress-up days.  All costumes must follow the school dress code.
Monday– Pajama; Tuesday– Safari (Jungle or Tourist theme); Wednesday– Disney; Thursday– Class Color Day: 12th grade- black, 11th grade- white, 10th grade- red, 9th grade- neon yellow, 8th grade- green, 7th grade purple, and teachers- pink; Friday– Spirit Day
The theme for the parade is “Wipeout the Whippets”.  We will also be having a hallway decorating competition with the same theme.
The St. Paul College/Military Fair will take place on October 7th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.. There will be 24 colleges and or branches of the military in attendance. St. Paul students in grades 10 through 12 are encouraged to attend. I will be coming into classes over the next few days to have you choose the four representatives you would like to visit with. All juniors will be taking the ASVAB test in the old gym on September 30th. Please report to 1st period for attendance and then report to the old gym. The test will begin at 8:30 and last until 11:30 or 12:00.
If you are looking to obtain community service hours or build your resume Asera Care maybe the people to contact. Asera is a Hospice agency that provides various services for those people who are terminally ill. If you are interested in visiting with one of Asera’s directors please see me. Mr. Van Pelt
